what would i have to leave at the border?

let's say hypothetically that the orange pig wins again in 2020 and i decide to escape to canada to avoid the pogroms and internment camps and stone soap: how much of my guns and gear would i have to leave behind? (assuming that canada is still accepting refugees from the shithole country to the south) i expect the 30 round AR mags, maybe the 20 round m14 mags would have to stay behind. maybe the AR itself? they don't seem to have a problem with the m14 in semiauto, and the bolt guns should be safe, yes? i think the garand is the only one with a bayonet lug.
i'm retired. what's your excuse?

Putting guns aside, it's not as easy as it once was to immigrate to Canada they use a skills based system now. If you're on Medicare it doesn't work in Canada, a Medicare Advantage program might or another private health policy.

Immigrating to Canada is very hard. They don't want people any more than the US does, really. If the shit hits the fan in the US you might have a better chance in Canada by applying for assylum, although things would have to be really bad in the US since Canada considers the US to be a "safe" country where you can wait while your assylum request is processed.

It's actually a lot more liberal than you would expect but still Cali-esque

As to bullpups I am pretty sure that Tavors are sold in Canada.
