Some other options might be an entry level Burris or Vortex in a 1x3 or 1x4 magnification. At 50 to 100 yards I'd consider a scope mount that allowed you to use your iron sites in case you needed quick acquisition on your target.
I just bought this 1x6 Vortex Strike Eagle after hearing too many people talk about how good they are for the money.

I have been happy with the purchase.
Re: Scope shopping
27Can't beat the Vortex warranty - you break it, they repair or replace it. Forever. Even if you're not the original buyer. Haven't needed their customer service but everything I've read says it's great.USMC9199 wrote:Some other options might be an entry level Burris or Vortex in a 1x3 or 1x4 magnification. 28The best thing about Vortex is that they are building a new factory in tiny Barneveld, WI which is about 12 miles as the crow flies from our farm.
