A few quick notes of interest:
— On last Thursday’s Training Talk, martial arts and combatives expert Cecil Burch and I talked about defensive use of the knife. Cecil may be known as “the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Guy”, but he also has multi-decade experience in several edged weapon disciplines. He’s taken that knowledge and applied it to plausible self defense for the rest of us, and what he has to say is very interesting. I learned quite a lot from our talk, and I’m sure you will too! Listen to the replay now.
— For those in Texas who have been asking for a revolver class, you’re in luck! I’ve scheduled my Threat-Centered Revolver course for May 12th & 13th at Mission 160 Range in Whitewright (about 90 minutes NE of Dallas. This also makes it convenient for many folks in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana!) Here’s the registration link.
— Speaking of classes, there are still a few openings in my Threat-Centered Revolver course in Phoenix on March 17th & 18th. Click here for more information and to sign up.
— Are you in E. Indiana, W. Ohio, S. Michigan or N. Kentucky? If so, we’re trying to gauge interest in a Threat-Centered Revolver class in that area, possibly in late July. If you’d be interested in attending, please drop me a quick email or Facebook message and let me know. If enough people respond we’ll go ahead and book a range.
— I’ll be announcing my latest book very soon! It’s all about using a rifle to defend life on your homestead, and according to my editor it’s some of my best writing. It’s full of useful, detailed information as well as a sprinkle or two of my patented sacred-cow repellant. Stay tuned for more!
That’s it for today. Have a safe week!
